Meet Our Coaching Staff
Jordan Wiegand, Head Coach
Jordan has over 16 years of coaching experience. Jordan is currently Head Boys’ Varsity Soccer Coach for the 2022 WPIAL (AAAA) Champions Pine-Richland. He is the 2022 WPIAL (AAAA) COY. Previously, he had coached High School soccer for the 2018 PIAA (AA) Championship finalists Deer Lakes (2011-2013, 2017-2018), 2016 WPIAL (A) Championship Finalist North Catholic (2014-2016) and District 10 (AA) Semi-Finalist Slippery Rock in 2010. In 2016, he was named WPIAL (A) COY. He has previously coached for SCS United, Arsenal FC of Pgh, and North Stars. He currently coaches the 2011 and 2007 Boys Olympic Development Program. He is the current head coach for Pittsburgh City Futsal Club. He has obtained his US Soccer B License, US Soccer Coach Educator License, United Soccer Coaches Director of Coaching Diploma and United Soccer Coaches Level 1 Futsal Diploma.
Tim McCarthy, Assistant Coach
Tim is the Assistant Boys' Varsity Soccer Coach at Pine-Richland. With nine years of coaching experience, he has worked with players across multiple levels, from youth development to high school varsity. Coach McCarthy has also joined the girls soccer program at PR, and is hopeful for success across both teams this season.
Charlie Bauer, JV Head Coach
Coach Charlie is entering his third year as a coach in the Pine-Richland school program, working two years with the middle school boys before moving up to the JV/Varsity level.
He has previously coached at North Hills (approx. 2007-2014), where he teaches German, with both their middle school and high school programs. He has a US Soccer E Coaching License. In the winter and spring, he runs training sessions for rising 7th and 8th graders, including a weekly academy through the Pine-Richland Soccer Club. He supports BVB Dortmund, though he much prefers playing soccer to watching it — assuming his legs are willing to cooperate.
Steven Rerick, Goalkeeper Coach
Steven has joined the Pine-Richland coaching team this year as a Goalkeeping Coach. He has over 8 years of coaching experience. Steven is currently working at Steel City FC as the USL 2 Men's First Team Assistant Coach, Boys Performance Phase Director of Goalkeeping, College Recruitment Advisor, and Performance Phase Team Coach. Steven also helped the Steel City USL 2 Men's Team to its First USL Conference Championship in their inaugural season in the league. Previously, Steven worked at Duquesne University helping them to reach #18 in the Country in NCAA Division I (2024-2025), Carnegie Mellon University in NCAA Division III (2022-2024), and Slippery Rock University NCAA Division II (2018-2022). He currently holds a US Soccer National C Coaching License, United Soccer Coaches Advanced National Goalkeeping Diploma, Special Topics Diploma: Performance Analysis, and Special Topics Diploma: Analyzing Goalkeeper Performance.
Dave Negron, 8th Grade Coach
Dave is starting his first year with the Pine-Richland Boys’ Soccer program as Head Coach of the 8th Grade Boys’ Soccer team. He played at Erie East High School and also in the Erie Metro league where he was team captain and an all star player in both his junior and senior years. Dave has coached in various youth soccer programs and most recently at the club level coaching for Steel City FC. Dave attended Edinboro University.
Brandt Kepreos, 7th Grade Coach
Brandt joins the Pine-Richland Boys’ Soccer program as Head Coach of the 7th Grade Boys’ Soccer team. Coach Kepreos recently graduated from LaRoche University with his Masters in Education and will work as a paraprofessional in the PR Middle School this school year. He has extensive experience coaching youth sports. His previous experience includes coaching the middle school soccer team at Shaler and clinics with Jump Start Sports in Kent, Ohio.
